The event will include a live and silent auction featuring items from Acadiana area artists and merchants. Guests will dine on an array of menu items from various local restaurants. During the gala, the American Cancer Society will also present its Spirit of Hope Award to area physicians, cancer survivors and other members of the community who have made significant contributions to the fight against cancer. The proceeds will help support programs offered by the Healing House. The Healing House offers support groups and activities for children who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.
